When reality comes back to your door and reminds you of how short life is and how precious are the people who have surrounded you with love.
Praying that He may comfort us and grant us hope and strength in our time of need.

Stuff my mom says
My mom just came home from work (she’s a nurse and works the 3-11pm shift). My dog Milo always knows when she’s home even before she opens the door downstairs. He waits in the hallway outside my room for her to come upstairs. Sometimes I’ll be awake and overhear her “talking” to him before she gets ready for bed.
Here’s what she said to Milo tonight:
“Oh, Milo! Hellooo! How’s my baby? How’s my big boy, bad boy? What did you do today? Mommy can’t play right now. Mommy is sleepy. I need to sleep because we’re going to church tomorrow morning for a special mass for lolo (grandfather). Oh, you’re stretching-stretching again. Why? Do you want to get bigger? Why are you looking at me? I know, I know. You want me to give you food. No no, baby. It’s too late now for treats. Eat your food there in your bowl. Good boy. Ahh…you’re hungry. You’re showing mommy you’re hungry? Okay, that’s enough now. Drink water. Okay. Night night now, Milo! Night night. Go in ate’s (older sister’s - meaning me) room now. Night night, baby!”
